Dr Carmen Brown is an obstetrician and gynaecologist, and
Clinical Director of Women’s Services at Bass Coast Health.
Carmen completed her medical training in the US in 2004 and
gained experience with prominent private practices before
relocating to New Zealand and then Australia. A member of
the Australasian Menopause Society and the International
Menopause Society, Carmen is passionate about empowering
women to understand their health and offering evidencebased treatment tailored to their unique needs, and about
healthcare in regional and rural settings. She is on the board
of the Rural Doctors Association of Victoria and a Council
representative for the AMAV Hospital Senior Salaried
Medical Staff vocational subdivision.
