Dr Mary Belfrage is a GP who has worked in community
health, in Aboriginal health services in urban and in desert
communities, and as the Medical Director at the Victorian
Aboriginal Health Service from 2009-2017. Mary has also held
a wide range of non-clinical roles in guideline development,
teaching, research and implementation. Most recently she
was the editorial and clinical lead on the National Aboriginal
Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO)-RACGP
National Guide to Preventive Health Care for Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander People (4th edition, 2024).
